It took me one good month to decide if I would renew my subscription or not.

Repetitive - and unpredictable - site maintenance operations, combined with a rather slow page loading, have kept me away from this site for months. DeviantArt is the only site I experience so many problems of time response, although I have a broadband connection.

While I was away from DeviantArt, I was on Flickr... I uploaded a lot's of pictures on that site, made connections with other photographers. A very nice experience, with no technical problems... which tends to keep me away from here.

Tonight again, it took me two tentatives to renew my subscription, and three to upload a picture.

Really, I'm wondering if it is worth for me to pay a fee to this site. I will have to take a decision at the end of the subscription. If it's still the same situation, I suppose that I won't renew it. I will be only an occasional lurker, not a posting DeviantArt.
Whatever my future decision will be, the pictures uploaded here, which had received comments and/or fav', will remain.
